Baby Bundles are provided through social workers in hospitals to those in need of this help. This project is partially funded from the Emergency Aid Fund (for the purchase of baby clothes) and partly by beautiful handmade garments, rugs and toys, supplied through the generosity of SACWA members. Feel free to call into the SACWA State Office to see an example of this very worthwhile project.
SACWA accepts donations of handmade garments to be packed into the Baby Bundles. While you can use any pattern of your choosing, click here to download a suggested crochet pattern or click here to download a fabric jacket pattern.
Where hospitals agree to assist, a pair of hand knitted booties is presented to new born babies. The booties are handmade by generous SACWA members.
