Handicraft Committee

SACWA is all about learning new skills while having fun along the way. Members of the Handicraft Committee are all committed “crafty ladies”, who enjoy passing on their talents to members, friends and family.
Handicraft Shop
The SACWA Handicraft Shop is upstairs in Mary Walker House, 30 Dequetteville Terrace, Kent Town, and is open on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:30am to 2:30pm.
There is a wide range of items on sale, for many different crafts, all at very reasonable prices. Gift vouchers are also available.
Members volunteer to provide this service. Anyone interested in assisting would be very welcome. Please contact the State Office to find out more.
Sew, Stitch and Share
The Handicraft Committee hosts Sew, Stitch and Share sessions on the fourth Saturday of each month. These sessions are BYO craft projects.
Members of the Handicraft Committee will be available for support, and kits for popular items will be available for sale at a nominal cost. The Handicraft shop will also be open.
Come along and join in the fun! Meet members from other branches and share your skills and experience.
Handicraft Workshops
We organise a variety of handicraft workshops around the state, providing members with opportunities to learn and share skills.
Handicraft Committee members are able to visit your group or branch to share their expertise in card making, knitting, crochet or embroidery. All we ask is that we join you in shared refreshments.
You can now contact the Handicraft committee with possible dates, times and locations for workshops, handicraft shop orders, ask questions, or requests for judges for Table Days at handicraft@sacwa.org.au.
